Obama’s high school classmates remember a cheerful friendly well-adjusted kid; Obama describes suffering over his identity. I think we may all remember our adolescence rather differently than others observed us.

I think its rather telling that he ATTEMPTED to attack his mother with a hammer, and he ATTEMPTED to stab a classmate with a knife.
This is a highly regarded surgeon. Precision and aim are of paramount importance in that field. But he misses with a hammer and can’t hit with a knife??

You have to admit that his whole demeanor does somewhat resemble that of an …agitated… mental patient who’s been put on a little Thorazine to smooth out the physical responses to internal turmoil. So maybe he DID have some violent ideations that got a bit out of hand at one point or another, but he got help.
In any case it does seem a bit odd that the attacked individuals, like his mother, don’t step forward and say, “yes, he really did raise a hammer toward me once” or something like that. I mean, hey, mom, he must have looked really threatening when he did that. How come you don’t remember it?
The ATTEMPTS were probably more like GESTURES.

Or mere thoughts. Christianity in its many forms, is big on guilting people for their sins. So much so that people fabricate sins in order to receive forgiveness. These “revelations” came about as he was having his “conversion moment”.
So I can totally see him turning angry thoughts he had a teen into much bigger incidents then they really were. Saying Jesus forgave me for attacking my mother with a hammer carries a whole lot more than saying Jesus forgave me for being mad at my mother for dressing me funny.

It’s already looking like the post debate spikes from the last Republican primaries. The Donald held on for a long time (and still might), but now it might be back to: they are starving for a viable candidate and have none, so every debate they pick a new darling who hasn’t seen the real media spotlight, and after that darling rises into that spotlight, they burn up. So the party returns to the next debate even more desperate for a viable candidate. Unfortunately their base is so hopped up on hate and fear that any viable candidate for them, isn’t viable for the presidency so… rinse and repeat.

I was robbed at gunpoint 25 years ago and I remember every fucking detail. I bet you within a day the police records department of my hometown could pull the report too. While your memory may be fogged from the delivery, I also bet you could easily obtain the hospital record of your son’s birth.
