Discussion: CNN: Ben Carson's Former Classmates Don't Recall His Violent Outbursts

Discussion for article #242536

I could go either way on this; Carson’s behavior isn’t inconsistent with someone who’s been struggling to suppress rage issues for most of his life that were successfully buried, but lying about fantasies for which he felt guilty of having prior to a significant conversion experience is also consistent behavior for that personality type – speaking from personal experience.

I think the pyramids were built to store all of Carson’s lies and idiotic ideas.

The Pyramids at Giza are big, but they aren’t that eff’n’ big!

Baltimore police said they couldn’t locate a police report on the incident due to lack of information, while Carson’s campaign said “details are hazy because that incident did occur over 30 years ago.”

My son was born 31 years ago. I was in the delivery room. I don't remember much about it. Hey, it was 31 years ago, it's hazy in my mind now! Get over it!

Duh…these stories are nothing but cynical fabrications intended to make him more “relatable” to his fellow minorities, who he views through the lens of narcissism as a teeming mass of violence and disrespect that he has risen above and is better than.

Carson is an idiot. From a Facebook post last night touting his lack of political experience as an asset in his Prez run:

“The current Members of Congress have a combined 8,700 years of political experience. Are we sure political experience is what we need,” Carson wrote in his Facebook post. "Every signer of the Declaration of Independence had no elected office experience. What they had was a deep belief that freedom is a gift from God. They had a determination to rise up against a tyrannical King."

All the above signers held elective office before the 1776 signing of the Declaration of Independence. This is just a partial list. Many of the others held various city and state offices I haven’t listed. They were nearly ALL experienced politicians previous to the signing. Carson is so full of shit it’s pathetic.

“…religious experience in the bathroom”?? I too am often transformed by my bathroom experiences, but all I ever get out of it is a cathartic and profound sense of relief.

As I’ve already advised Dr. Carson, whenever someone casts aspersions on his asparagus, don’t fuck around: stab them.

When did being an attempted murderer, or even lying about being an attempted murderer become a qualification for president?

What Carson did or didn’t do in his teens is utterly unimportant, compared to his complete and utter ignorance of governance and objective reality.Teenage Ben Carson doesn’t concern me; sixty-something year old Ben Carson does.

There’s no doubt in my mind that a young “quite, bookish, nerdy” Ben Carson wanted to stab some people growing up.

The search for truth…a ‘witch hunt’. You gotta love Armstrong Williams, that ol’ grifter. No WONDER Benny C. picked him for the traveling show…

I was raised in Compton and the south portion of Los Angeles. When I heard these supposed events that happen in Dr. Carson youth, I was very suspicious. First no one in the hood uses the term “camping knife” when referring to an shank or blade. Also usually when you’re in a knife fight you’re taking more than one slash at your opponent. Also, most dudes in a fight where someone shanked you but the belt buckle saved your a$$…you can rest assure a counter assault/attack would be forthcoming…It would not expired the way Dr. Carson describe it, therefore I think he’s: LYING!!!

Speaks volume about Dr. Carson character to be associated with Armstrong Williams and all his baggage!
