Jets’ coach Rex Ryan delivers the final report of the committee ahead of tome.
This is reminiscent of Issa’s all male panel including, clergy, on contraception and they weren’t talking vasectomies. These discussions then led to the conclusion that Sandra Fluke was a slut.

I’ve thought that too. And then I say to myself, “But they’re crazy.” And then I say to myself, “Yes, self, they’re crazy. What’s your point?”
+100. Wishing I could recommend more than once.
That is the goal. It’s always been the goal. Right from the start. And not simply because right wing and religious authoritarians are always misogynists, which, of course, they are. But because the very idea of people being able to make decisions about private things without the supervision of right wing authoritarians strikes at the core of their ideology.
And like I said…here come the “perjury” attempts…
In a weird sort of way you have to respect them for repeating the same mistakes over and over again. I assume that he thinks that by putting an equal number of women on the committee that it will somehow stop the debate about the “war on women”. Little does he and the rest of the Republicans understand it has nothing to do with the numbers and more towards the policies like I don’t know harassing Planned Parenthood.
I just pray that Sidney Blumenthal never sent an email to a Planned Parenthood office.
And when they realize that Cecile Richards handles interrogation as well as Hillary, they’ll have another reason to hate women.
I see what you’re saying about single women. The Rethugs consider them to be on the same par as whores. They’re enjoying sex AND they tend to vote Democratic. According to them, that needs to stop?
But what of married people who don’t want to be encumbered by a family?
In a nation that has been conditioned to believe that lies are truth and that an attention span of less than 10 minutes is acceptable so that the media can move on to the next blood-and-guts story, this kind of governance is what you get. Until we get politicians who have the willingness to demand the FCC change its rules about media ownership in a market; a media that is actually going to present just facts, not fictions to support political agendas; and an educated populace that demands better than this kind of sick governance, we are stuck with the GOP/Tea Party out of control spending on witch hunts and gridlock. We, the American people, allowed this to happen to us, and we are the only ones who can fix it.
And with American women being more than half the population now, perhaps it is time for us to stand up collectively and start actually fighting back with Million Women Marches on DC and state capitals, starting in Red states. Of course, that will never happen because we are too busy working three jobs, caring for our children, and trying to stay healthy and not pregnant so that we can pander to GOP/Tea Party/Evangelical demands for money and sexual services without consequences. And women like Blackburn are a disgrace that allows this kind of thing to continue.
Everyone needs to be repeating this as long as it takes to get this fact out…
Jesus, Blackburn… one of the most belligerent, self-satisfiedly stupid members of congress…
It’s always kind of baffling to me that the GOP never seems to recognize that happily married couples with children would like to have sex with each other without having to worry about producing more children. The left often plays into this belief by acting as though contraception is something only unmarried women use. I imagine that the overwhelming majority of married couples, even those with more than one child, use some contraception at some point in their marriage. One way Democrats can do a better job of appealing to married women is to acknowledge that they also have a stake in this fight.
Benghazi: Planned Parenthood Unit
New this fall!
Only on C-SPAN
If they do somehow find a way to defund PP, it only hurts millions of women seeking healthcare
Feature, not a bug, for the GOP.
This is “progress” of a sort: at least Speaker Boehner recognized how terrible the optics were last time around.
But there’s no way this is going to end well for the GOP: when you start with fundamentally flawed premises, the only thing you can possibly do is make the base even more angry and frustrated.
The GOP is descending to the level of an angry mob, and unfortunately, we’re watching it happen.
Nancy Pelosi should not have any member participate. This time take a stand.
Congratulations on winning the internet today.
