Personal family and friends aren’t often a good sample size for a large population. You may wish yours were, but I’m very glad mine are not.
One of the reasons people disparage Lindsey Graham is because he hates himself and his own sexuality. This is not the making of a stable individual.
There are women who hate women, blacks who hate blacks (this means YOU, Clarence) and Latinos who hate Latinos (and a big shout out to Cruz).
I do not know Buttigieg…but I can see a scenario in which his sexuality to him is not a negative. And if that is the case, he might surprise a lot of people.

There are lots of people out there (Dick Cheney…) who have LGBT family and friends, but who also anti-gay in general and support anti-LGBT policies.

Hey, once I found out Beto was part of Cult of the Dead Cow, he’s gonna be golden.
Will have a couple generations of black-hat hackers that worshiped that old group in his back pocket, particularly with all the net neutrality stuff that’s been coming around.

I don’t know about percentages but if he makes a good showing in the debates and others falter the media will be more than happy to promote the the great rivalry, the greatest contest on earth to determine the fate of Mankind.

It’s true. Beto is really a Blue Dog, and we all overlooked that in his Senate race, rooted for him to beat Cruz and rally didn’t look at his voting record. But he teamed up with the Moultons and the Tim Ryans quite a bit. Not only that, but he jumped in onto the anti-Nancy Pelosi bandwagon. Now, he may have become more progressive in the Trump era, he was very impressive on immigration and BLM issues during his campaign, but let us see him on the debate stage.
That, and he is really green, wet behind the ears, clueless almost, in his campaign kickoff. NOT impressive. I’m waiting and watching but there are many other more impressive candidates this time around. An embarrassment of riches, compared the Republicans’ pathetic, criminal slate of candidates.

Beto is the Astroturf candidate. That’s why he’s getting donations. And not from the kind of people who donated to Bernie.

I’m sure State was her idea. DoD is equally prestigious (if not more so) but such an appointment would have been a disaster.
