Why would you say that? Unlike the idiotic claims that Obama was born in Kenya, Cruz actually was born in foreign country and it may turn out that neither one of his parents were U.S. citizens, even if only as what would be seen as a technicality today. It’s a legitimate story.

If that were the case, a reasonable interpretation of the constitutional requirement would still find Cruz eligible to serve as President.
Yes, but when you force the Supreme Court to decide who gets to be President, they sometimes do something weird.

Very well stated! I think there is no doubt that Cruz will get to run for the Presidency and would be accepted by Congress if he runs and wins. Rules, including the Constitution are not meant to apply to Republicans. But, Cruz is one of the cruel members of Congress who would deny citizenship to newborn babies who were born in the USA, justifying any trouble we can hand him over this amusing situation.

“If we awaken and energize the body of Christ– if Christians and people of faith come out and vote our values– we will win and we will turn the country around,” Cruz told volunteers on a conference call Tuesday.
Cruz also said that he is organizing a coalition of pastors in early states including Iowa and South Carolina.
“We’re working to have a lead pastor in each of the 99 counties in Iowa, 99 pastors are organizing other pastors,” Cruz said. “We’re doing the same thing in South Carolina, organizing pastors in 46 counties to motivate and organize other pastors.”
Cruz warned that, as the election nears, the attacks on his campaign will become more vicious.
“I want to tell everyone to get ready, strap on the full armor of God, get ready for the attacks that are coming,” he warned. “Come the month of January we ain’t seen nothing yet.”
Cruz predicts that the nomination will come by the end of the March and said that his campaign is now in a “90-day sprint to win this nomination.”
“There is a very good possibility that the Republican primary will be decided by the end of March,” he told them.
