Now that Christie’s buddy LeRage has come out as an out and out racist and Cruz’s Mom seems to have been hiding out in Calgary during the Vietnam War…or something…“The Donald” will need a bib to catch his salvia.

Isn’t it possible that Cruz’s mom lied? I lie to people who knock on my door all the time. Can’t take a poll because I’m not a homeowner, I gave at the office, I’m just housesitting, whatever.

Oh, I hope they’re polling Iowa a lot this month. I need the entertainment to get through the January blahs.

Last Word’s O’Donnell has had several Constitutional scholars on lately to discuss the meaning of “natural born citizen” and no matter what Cruz may say it is not a settled issue. The phrase is ambiguous and no matter who jumps in on Cruz’s side doesn’t mean it’s settled. Let this insufferable bastard twist slowly in the wind for another few months while he shuffles his way around it.

It makes sense that she lied. Look at Ted, he obviously learned from a Master.

why lie about being a citizen? it would have been easier than answering all the other questions-ended it immediately

Will Ted lie about his Brazilian?

I didn’t know irony could be so delicious. And it couldn’t happen to a bigger asshole. From what I have heard no one that used to work with him or went to school with him like him.

I understand that, as of 1974, Cruz’s mother may have held “dual citizenship,” both US and Canadian.

I also recall a conversation with a “dual citizen” of Guatemala and the US, in the summer of 1978, wherein I was told that one or the other of those countries would revoke that citizenship if she voted in the OTHER country’s elections.

I think we need to find out if Mrs. Cruz ever voted in Canada – and if so, whether that act effectively revoked her US citizenship.

What?! But you said we were best friends when I knocked on your door that time!

Could someone check that the toaster isn’t plugged in 'cause I sure seem to be smelling some.

Agreed. “Natural born” has no meaning if it can mean someone born in another country and given birth-citizenship in that country, born to someone living in that country (not just visiting), where only one parent is a US citizen. I find it infuriating that some of these Cruz apologists want to deny citizenship to babies who have no other citizenship from their birth because they are BORN HERE.

Cruz and Rubio both have benefited policies, practices, and generosity they would deny to millions of hard-working and conscientious AMERICANS-- yeah, the ones who live and work here and raise their children here.
(I know Rubio was born here, and I think Rushbo ought to start calling him an anchor baby.)

Let Cruz make his case for citizenship. After so many years of having Obama’s questioned when over and over it was proved he was just as American as George Washington (more-- Washington was born in a British colony :), time for some birthers to switch their focus.
