I have mixed feelings about former Rep Hill. Yes, it’s a horrible double standard, and her ex husband sounds like a horrible POS, maybe even a criminal one.
But she also avoided an ethics investigation into an inappropriate relationship with a staffer by resigning, which I’m inclined to believe she did engage in. And that makes me so angry. Her district is now repped by a trump supporting military guy (although the race was soooooo close).
I hope she repairs her reputation, gets justice for the leak of the photos, and finds a way to be of service, but I’m still angry.

That’s the odd thing about the accusations against Boebert, it should be rather trivial to confirm or rule out if there was a tour and who went… shouldn’t it?

I can understand WHY she wanted to show off where she worked but I don’t understand why she didn’t come forward when Mikie Sherrill brought this UP…truly innocent people would have said ‘I brought some friends thru…’.

It’s an odd one: if the people she led on tour where in the riot, they weren’t part of the group that Officer Goodman led past the entrance to the Senate chamber. Clearly, those folks didn’t know where they were supposed to be going.
Nor, it would seem, did anyone else who might have wanted to show up before that chamber was evacuated.
I say this in contrast to the House, where they showed up fast enough for one to be killed attempting to break in.

Completely OT: just wanted to say how much I like your avatar. I stayed a few weeks in the middle of a banana plantation on Tenerife in the Canary Islands and a hoopoe came regularly in the morning to pick insects out of the grass in our garden…

I wonder if her chief of staff, who just resigned, was with her on the tour. Boebert is new, so wouldn’t know much about the building, but he was an old Capitol hand, so could have shown them the nooks and crannies

That’s an incredibly generous characterization. Why would/could you “give a tour” of a building (including tunnels) that you hardly know? Who else was with her, “guiding” her “angry constituents”?
