Additionally, we haven’t a clue to what evidence the DoJ has on the imbecile named Trump!
Also, let’s remember he is at heart a back slapping car salesman. He doesn’t have the stones for knife work.
But does it make him mattress wetting scared?
Will this nation finally have an Epiphany?
We knew he was watching it all on TV, didn’t we? Wasn’t he critical that they looked like buffoons? I’m surprised he didn’t stop them for doing it wrong.
He was reportedly less than amused by the cos-play. Buffalo-head didn’t impress him.
The fact that the calls are testimony is coming from inside the house will certainly freak him out, and that’s great. But another thing I really like here is the effort to prove beyond any doubt that this appalling event was something he liked and refused to stop. Much of what was appalling about Trump from 2015 on was a trampling on our mostly abstract ideals, and painful more to thinking people than the relatively stolid masses. But a mob of yahoos attacking the damn Capitol is something everyone can look at in horror, including the Republican jackals who were shocked into an awareness of reality by having to run for their damn lives. If a bipartisan committee is saying he liked this, he was gloating, he wouldn’t stop it, and we can prove pretty conclusively he and his gang organized and instigated it, well, they’ll have done some good. We know the masses really haven’t seen what we see. Not yet. But if the committee members play it right as communicators, and I have some confidence they will, that could change.
Oh, yes. At least one person in his most inner of circles has turned on him. Maybe even Ivanka? Certainly the thought has to have crossed his mind.
Who can he trust at this point? Who has he not denigrated, belittled, stabbed in the back, or discarded like used toilet paper? Who remains loyal to this mad not king?
Heh. That is, indeed, what I hope. May not happen right away, but I see all but the worst of the bunch seeing a new light, even if it’s dim.
I sense another pun thread forming - up and atom, gang!
She would in a heartbeat if it was a clear path for her to something she wants or needs.
There was no one there to yell “CUT!” like they did on his TV show.
That actually made me sick to know that he was enjoying this. He’s sick, but not so much that he can’t be prosecuted.
This isn’t news. They likely got this from the Meadows notes, was reported all the way back in January that Ivanka was running around while Melanoma was screening photographs for her picture book, and Meadows was one of the few people around.
Jello missed a spokesman…
The fact that Ivanka -his daughter and senior advisor - ran to him, not once, but twice to call off the dogs of war strongly suggests he had full
operational control over the insurrectionists. And that he made a conscious decision to allow the attack on Congress to continue, thus abdicating his solemn oath to the Constitution and responsibility as chief executive. Thanks Ivanka?
Outstanding Post
BTW I’ve often said he’s mentally ill and often had pushback from people who worry he could wriggle out of consequences because of it. But I hasten to say he’s not the kind of crazy that gets you the rarely awarded NGRI. He shows all kinds of awareness of guilt. He rarely demonstrates anything else. He knows right from wrong. He just doesn’t feel it.
If true, that would make you a mole.
