I thought it was Obama’s fault.

The problem is low flow shower heads and toilets with smaller flush capacity. We have to let the water run free to make it great again.

Yeah…Obama sawed the legs off the periodic table.

An elemental truth.

Christie is looming large. And I’m talking BK XL whopper size. The poor chair that he was ensconced on was begging for fucking mercy.

From the Article:

[“Appearing on ABC News, Cheney, who serves as vice chair of the committee, said that the committee has “firsthand testimony” that Trump was sitting in the dining room next to the Oval Office watching TV as the deadly Capitol insurrection unfolded.”] (emphasis added)

That means a lot to people of all stripes

It is a noble subject.

Agree and committee staff and DOJ maybe communicating so as not to step on either’s investigations. DOJ already has cooperation agreements with some of the insurrectionists. There is much more going on than is public. That said, I am happy to see both Cheney and Thompson on the Sunday gab fests.

I’ve never seen anyone flunk lapband surgery to quite that extent.

I see Kevin is in a tight spot, largely due to his own cravenness and political ambitions.

I didn’t know that. Thank you. It really does make sense to do it that way. While DOJ will have to do their due diligence to investigate the committee’s findings, the committee is doing a lot of the legwork and connecting the dots that the DOJ would otherwise need to do. In other words, the committee is putting the case together for DOJ. The TV lawyers who are saying they don’t think DOJ is investigating the 1/6 planners are forgetting that the committee is doing exactly that. The referrals they send to DOJ will basically be indictments served up on a silver platter.

Historically, in the Roman Church, Christmastide ended on Candlemas day (Feb 2).

Fun fact: in Rural New England there was a rhyme about winter: “You should have half your hay on Candlemas day.”

Sometimes when I see that Ivanka is the moral authority that the government should abide, I fear the end times too

“We know members of his family, we know his daughter. We have firsthand testimony that his daughter Ivanka went in at least twice to ask him to please stop this violence,”

W/r/t DOJ and investigations: The less these folks talk to the mikes and cameras, the better I like it.
