I wouldn’t be surprised if lots of people in his inner circle have turned on him. From my understanding, to know him well is to hate him, so I imagine there are more than a few who couldn’t wait to tell all they knew. And then there are WH staffers who the family probably treated like furniture when they weren’t abusing them. I’m sure they have plenty to say too.

I watched the Watergate Senate Hearings, live, in real time, and I remember clearly, how the Republicans on the committee went from trying to defend their President, to, when the testimony became overwhelming, asking very hard, very pointed questions, and ultimately calling for Nixon’s impeachment. They mirrored the electorate, at large.
Public Hearings are, I hope, going to doom Trump, Trumpism, and all Trump’s apologists now in Federal Office.
