He was confronted by armed police. Yet he continued to struggle with Pelosi over possession of the hammer, and once he wrested control of it he proceeded to wail away at him. In front of armed police. I don’t detect any hesitancy on his part to tempt what might have essentially been suicide by cop. Why the hell he wasn’t shot is the mystery. Had he been black there would have been a different outcome.
