So far I keep seeing he is “safe”. No more. I have questions. Does this mean he is well and relatively unscathed? Or just in a hospital room and safe from further incident?
Also, anything Stephen Cheung says I immediately discount.

I disagree that it was inevitable, at least at the level of a lone shooter. Protecting the sitting President and presumed nominees on the other side in an election year is the Super Bowl for the Secret Service. Heads will roll at the agency, or at least they should, and procedures will be modified. That’s a good thing.
Past the level of the lone gunman, it could still happen with some other kind of event, like someone flying a plane into the stage. But this is what we pay the USSS to do, and someone screwed up.

No. The Secret Service is not going to bloody up their protectee while covering him up. FFS, that is not how professionals who are specifically trained to get the principle to the ground, covered up and unharmed do things.

An attempted assassination on TDICFFG does not make him any more qualified to be president. He’s the same danger to Democracy and lying sack of excrement that he was 2 hours ago and no one should be surprised that everyone’s first thought was that a serial liar faked an assassination attempt on himself.
We can abhor the act against him while still calling him an unqualified, lying, porn-star banger and convicted felon.

It means they have him safe. They’re not gonna release any information on his medical condition until they get him fully checked out by a medical team, but the fact that he walked to the limo under his own power and was asking to get his shoes back (he literally came out of the shoes when the SS took him down) and they didn’t put him in an ambulance or helo points to ‘no immediate concern’.

Good point. If the nearest agents slammed him down onto the stage floor, that blood on his ear could just be from hitting the floor. Seems more likely to me than a near-miss aimed at him.

Both. They can’t say unharmed, due to blood but they have said no life-threatening injury. Also, safe meant he had been moved off stage to armored vehicle.
And they both missed a big fat target on stage?
