Biden Replaces Trump-era Social Security Commissioner | Talking Points Memo

It’s actually quite simple. He holds it all in within his throat pouch:

If I were in IT for this agency, I would happily work overtime and all weekend scrubbing all traces of this bozo.
He’s a special kind of idiot if he thinks his login credentials survived the close of business.

And so it begins. With or without McCarthy’s contribution.

On a federal government computer, it should have already been done that he can’t even get past the logo screen. Phone probably won’t work either.

I don’t want to say he’s been ghosted, but he’s probably not even getting that annual e-mail from Social Security detailing his current standing regarding benefits.

Last summer was the first summer I’ve spent in Dallas in over 20 years. It was not a bad summer. It was not that hot and not that humid either.

I hated the humidity before we got out of there this summer.

I don’t want to watch it, because my stomach is already in knots today.

ETA after reading the comments I gave it a try. And what in the name of sanity was that supposed to be? The implication (intended or not) is that Texas no longer leads “the charge” whatever that means. And is he trying to do a Texas accent? Just weird.

I hope his email and remote access is disabled as well, and Social Security Administration Security personnel are knocking on his door to collect their/our computer equipment and all SSA files he might have, as a terminated employee he has no rights to any of that. And that should include any pens and pencils and staples and copy paper he might have kept as well.

And this, saying so much in so few words.

“I made it very clear to him that the United States expects when a ransomware operation is coming from his soil, even though it’s not sponsored by the state, we expect him to act, and we give him enough information to act on who that is,” Mr. Biden said to reporters after signing an executive order at the White House.

Asked if Russia would face consequences for the spate of recent attacks, Mr. Biden simply replied “yes.”

As I understand it, the president cannot fire him. The Post Office Board is charged with that. Two of the vacancies on the board are now filled, Democrats. One remaining vacancy not yet been filled. Republicans could oppose him and make sure the position remains vacant. This leaving De Joy in place.
