On the one hand, you might put on a couple of pounds. On the other hand, hundreds if not thousands might die, drowning in fluid in their own lungs.

I am touched by your post and you and your family have my prayers.
There is an odd–maybe tangential–relationship between those of us who are menaced by this virus and the unfortunate individuals who have been snared by ICE and brutalized at the Border.
Both groups have been harmed by the Twin Towers of the Trump Regime:

Please, my taking a solitary run isn’t going to infect anyone, let alone kill thousands. Get a hold of yourself. And it’s not just about weight, but fitness and mental health. Lack of exercise kills.
The good thing about the horrible crime of Running While Human is that I could probably outrun most cops, most of whom are overweight here.

They always were. They’re just also helping to spread this virus too. Seats, trays, armrests, magazine pocket, window shade, overhead bins, closed air circulation with questionable filtering, coughing, sneeze and just plain breathing other passengers. I don’t like flying even under normal circumstances, in part for this reason. But getting on a flight now is just begging to catch or spread it.

We aren’t either, up in Mendocino County, but our schools are closed and people are putting the order in effect regardless. We have a LOT of travel between our county and the Bay Area.
