Finally, the world caught up with the concept of personal space… More silver linings to this virus every day.

That’s more like it. And, of course, if I were symptomatic, I’d stay indoors, for my and everyone else’s health. Some people like to exercise through illness. Not me. Always makes things worse. Also, when I do run or walk, it’s usually away from others anyway. I like my alone time. We have all sorts of wooded trails and wide-open parks around here to choose from.

We build alone time into our marriage. Got to have it. I swim for exercise as I can’t walk well or run, which is inherently alone time. I love hearing nothing but the sound of the bubbles from my breathe and the water as I move through it. A moving meditation.

To change the topic, what are some of the nuttier “home remedies” for this virus that you’ve come across? Double points if you’ve been assured by someone that it works and didn’t just hear about it in the media. The ones I’ve heard have to do with eating lots of garlic.

I thought I’d read everything she ever said, but don’t think I’ve heard that one. She could brighten up any party, all right. Thanks.

You just helped me decide what to fix for din-din. It’s gonna be pasta with garlic butter and a sprinkling of oregano and freshly grated Reggiano Parmigiano. Thanks.:fork_and_knife:

Redwood City here. Wondering if I’ll be allowed to hike in the hills.

A right-winger I know sent me an JPEG of an email purporting to be from a Chinese Physician written in English saying that lemon juice is an effective sanitizer.

I read him the riot act over that.

Well, acids do kill some microbes, but I’ve not heard that this acid kills this virus. I imagine that sulfuric, hydrochloric or muriatic acid might do it, but I wouldn’t want to put it on my skin.
