Yep. I think the way that works is they pass a rule that has a self-executing provision for the other piece of legislation (here, the budget stuff) and if the rule passes then the secondary legislation automatically passes. These 10 nincompoops would have to break ranks and raise an objection and side with the GQP, so Pelosi is basically forcing them to put their balls on the table where she can whack them with her gavel OR STFU, get the fuck in line, and stop making their personal interests in getting re-elected their only priority. I’m also wiling to bet she’s told them behind closed doors that they’re through and will receive no help or funding from the DNC and other party sources if they fuck this all up on us.

Two comprehensive prebuttals to this “audit” were released on Friday. Each contained a litany of Cyber Ninjas’ failures.
I wonder if this delay is really to allow them to massage the report to try to “write their way around” some of the criticisms? (The criticisms were pretty well known before, but the prebuttals are brutal.)
