Senator Fann’s statement claims that results are delayed in part because they just received images of the ballot envelopes on Thursday. This recent production was in response to a July 26 legislative subpoena the ballots “or digital images of the same.”
But the Maricopa County Attorney wrote to Fann on August 2 (three weeks ago) saying that:
(1) the ballot images were previously produced on April 22, 2021 “on Ballot Pallet 46.”
(2) If Cyber Ninjas can’t find them, they should look on “the Lacie hard drive” in folder AFFIDAVITS.
(3) If they still can’t find them, the County will deliver the actual envelopes upon request if Cyber Ninjas has an appropriately secure place to keep them.
This smells a lot like the previous incident where Cyber Ninjas (loudly) claimed that the County had deleted an important database, only to be told that they were looking in the wrong place.
The Ninjas have been incompetent all along. Now they are sick and incompetent.

My reaction to stories like this makes me not like myself very much. I wish I were a better person, but good grief, these people bring out the worst in me.
