AOC, Pressley, Tlaib, Omar Hit Back At Trump’s Racist Tirade

I would as well but that stopped the moment trump was sworn into office.

Probably he’s repeating something he heard or had read to him from Fox news or the only remaining Old Timer in his administration, Miller.

I wish AOC had continued to call the border prisons “concentration camps”. That is what they are.

Too late. They own the mantle of racism and xenophobia. Democratic women are leading the way forward. Do not fear the GOP, fight them. For all their undemocratic actions we are going to wipe the floor with them. We vote, we win.

My problem is that I can’t decide which of the four had the most effective response.

It’s a problem I am happy to have.

" The lady doth protest too much , methinks"

Methinks Trump would rather be accused of vicious racism than of being a child rapist who pals around with other child abusers. Methinks Someone at the WH is trying to change that narrative in a big way.

Gee, I wonder why a political party that is so ethnically diverse as the GOP is not saying a word about Trump’s racist screed?

The mind is boggled! Boggled, I say!

I love these women. Can I get an “amen”?

Partly it’s for his base.

Partly he is trying to bait the Democrats into making mistakes.

Has anyone asked Clarence Thomas for a comment? What does dear Senator Collins have to say?

I stand proudly with these women against this fat orange bigot.

It’s pretty unbelievable that it’s now come to this, but tRump needs to be called out. Everyone has put up with his incessant twitter nonsense for over 2 years, now there are young women that can match him blow for blow.

“You can’t accept that we will call your bluff & offer a positive vision for this country. And that’s what makes you seethe.”

Trump “seethes” What does that look like? He’s done it before:

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/10/opinion/trump-lawyer-cohen-mueller.html

https://thehill.com/homenews/the-memo/417342-the-memo-trump-seethes-two-weeks-after-midterms

https://www.alternet.org/2019/06/trump-seethes-and-calls-fox-fake-news-after-seeing-a-story-that-made-him-mad/

But has anyone ever captured the event in the wild and on video? BBC? Where’s Attenborough?

ETA.

Actually just about anything Trump doesn’t like causes him to seethe.

Consider the possibility that these four Congresswomen are, at the moment, receiving more death threats than their 431 colleagues put together.

More proof that everything he touches turns to shit. Used to be they were proud of these racist tweets, now they turn tail and run every time they are confronted. Trump is flailing and failing.

True but if we Dems focus on the cruelty, racism, lack of common decency, and Republican rationalizing these things, we win. We are a nation of immigrants. Say this over, and over and over.

Why can’t he be a racist pedophile enabler?

It’s a whipped topping AND a floor wax!

Obama did not vote NO, he was not in the Senate at the time.

There was some dude on MSNBC on Friday who told Chris Matthews that we are more ‘respected’ now with Trump in charge, we were ‘liked’ more during Obama because he was a patsy.

Isn’t it AMAZING how some people see things so wack-a-doodle? Matthews said you are the best spokesman I’ve ever had on because you sound like you believe it!.

And they make it look easy.

Senator Collins is too concerned with trying to prevent her being burned at the stake the next time she flies back to Maine.

The point of this is trump means to piss off anyone who doesn’t already support him. He is looking to cause division among democrats …to damage the party because he thinks it will help his reelection. And it might. But it certainly should drive away any people of color among the ranks of the GOP voters I would think.
I’m an older white guy who grew up in a rural setting. I ought to be a trump supporter, theoretically, but if the democrats were to nominate a warmed over cow pie (or Joe Biden) they would get my vote.
Malice and hate ooze from trump’s tweets as does open racism. Anyone with a working brain ought to reject trump utterly. But the silence from GOPers is deafening. I expect Fox will say something as overtly hostile to these women shortly (not counting Tucker’s insult to Omar which she has replied to).
