This should not be a Democrat vs. Republican issue, rather right vs. wrong. If Republicans don’t repudiate Trump in the strongest terms, they all own this. They are overtly the Party of racism and xenophobia.

There are 24 congresspeople and 5 senators currently serving who were not born in the US (unsurprisingly, only 3 reps and one senator are Republicans), from 18 different countries.

I knew that as soon as the oh-so-liberal media started blaring their “DEMS IN DISARRAY!!!” meme due to the recent kerfuffle in the Democratic Party - which, if something similar had occurred in the GOP, would barely be reported - Trump would open his unhinged mouth to unite the Dems against a common enemy.

Absolutely. And they should all be called into question to explain on tv. And if they “No comment” and walk away, fine. (Actually, media, great tv viewing. Like Cops. Bad boys, running from the spotlights. Your news people just need to produce it better. People love to see cowards. I give you Trump.) Show them walking away on camera. Then ask them again, and show it again and again.
Their silence IS the freeking context for ALL of this national frustration. The whole world has an opinion, and the actual members of the Party don’t???

CNN actually had Salena Zito - SALENA FUCKING ZITO! - on the air to try to spread a “both sides are responsible!” excuse. (They also had Mia Love on, who tried to take the racist heat off of President Fat Ass by blaming teenage suicides on Congress, for some fucking bizzaro reason. You remember Mia Love, don’t you, peeps? She’s the former GOP representative for Utah who got her ass kicked in the Blue Wave and is now an understudy for Diamonds and Silk.)
And this was AFTER Brian Stelter of CNN called Trump’s Tweets “straight-up racist”.
And then, for the cherry-on-top moment of hypocritical ecstasy, the Trump campaign actually tried to deny that the asshole said any racist remarks in the first place. Let’s just say that it did not go over well:
