Discussion: Trump Rejects Criticism He Waited Too Long To Condemn White Supremacists

Here’s a report by The Australian that the tweet most likely refers to. That was back in 1987.

Donald Trump’s plan to build and operate Sydney’s first casino was killed off in 1987 by the NSW government on the back of a high-level police report that warned against the now-US President’s bid because of his “mafia connections’’.

The secret report by the NSW Police Board into the suitability of tenderers for the inner-city Darling Harbour casino project cautioned that it would be “dangerous’’ to go ahead with Mr Trump’s joint venture with the Queensland-based Kern Corporation, headed by the late developer Barry Paul.

My biggest fear is he still has one final act of mass proportion he can do as in “Will He Top This Shit With Something Even Crazier?” and that’s giving the go-ahead to unleash a nuclear warhead on his say-so. And that’s not hyperbole. I seriously think he’ll do anything without thinking through the consequences and believing he’s entitled and in the right to do so. I assume that’s the main reason General Kelly is sticking it out. At least I pray and hope that that’s the main reason. tRump is truly that unstable a personality. They need to scrabble those launch codes or hide them. Seriously.

Wait wait wait there’s an assumption here that ALL mobsters are bad. How do you know that? Can you prove it?

I actually hadn’t heard his comments, I only read them. I am more disgusted after hearing them.

Well, at least he has reading material on his bedroom nightstand at Rump Towers to comfort him tonight.

Yeah the delivery was a big part of it.

Statesman has an article up about the time the Klukkkers got mooned in Austin. Proud to say I was part of the mooning crowd.

Molly Ivins wrote about it in one of her columns

"Our Texas freedom-fighters have been prone to misbehavior ever since. A recent Ku Klux Klan rally in Austin produced an eccentric counter- demonstration. When the fifty Klansmen appeared (they were bused in from Waco) in front of the state capitol, they were greeted by five thousand locals who had turned out for a “Moon the Klan” rally. Citizens dropped trou both singly and in groups, occasionally producing a splendid wave effect. It was a swell do. "
