Don’t trust that Ole Miss for a second, WV. She’ll do anything to hold on to her #50 spot in rankings of U.S. states.
Why blur their faces? Everybody should see who these fucks are.
(I do know that some people will approach them on the street … to thank them, praise their courage, and offer them cakes and pies, but that should not deter making their faces public.)
That’s the type we always had… since the beginning of time… In the ancient Greek cities they had to use slaves as cops because no decent man would take the job.
Why are their faces blurred out? The amount of bad judgment required to do something like that is almost unbelievable, and should rightfully haunt them forever. Not doing a Nazi salute is the bare minimum for having a place in normal society.
The open display of white supremacy in the US today is really astounding…five years ago you couldn’t imagine something like this happening. White supremacy was out there, but it was shunned, hidden, not openly flaunted every day. This is attributable to Trump, who made these assholes feel like they could just walk out and be themselves, that it was just fine to throw their racism out there.
Maybe it will work out, because the younger generations are far more open to diversity…showing them the hatred like this, instead of in history books, may inspire them to stomp it out in the future. For now, it makes me worry, especially what the white supremacists will do when Trump loses in 2020…I really expect a lot of violence from MAGAts that decide to undo the results of the election.
And most of the money that is suppose to help the farmers hurt by Trump’s trade war with China are not getting any. Most of the money is going to large agri businesses in the South, not the Mid-West.
Lighting problem, of going along to get along?
Forget it, Jake, it’s West Virginia.
Not all Republicans are Nazis, but all Nazis are Republicans.
Why are their faces blurred? These are not children. These are people working (probably indirectly) for the state to carry out one of the most difficult and morally challenging tasks that a state does. These people have complete power sometimes even including life and death over their fellow citizens. They do not get to be anonymous nor do they get to hide their actions from scrutiny.
“Forget it, Jake. It’s West Virginia.”
“In a statement to TPM, West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice ® said he’d ordered the termination of “all those that are found to be involved in this conduct.””
Starting, I assume, with the every single person demonstrably in the photo, I assume? TPM should follow up on this and find out if they try to slide it by once there are no eyes on them.
I have to wonder if these (O I have had such a struggle with myself here over just how rude I will allow myself to be) ‘folks’ have any fucking clue what they are emulating?
I swear I just can’t understand how this can be happening and it’s happening all over the goddamned west. They raided a place in Italy last week full of guns and bombs and Nazi paraphenalia. What the fuck is wrong with these people!
Didn’t see yours before posting mine.
The thing is though, not doing it on camera is an even more important part of the training.
Why hide their faces?
Conservative pundits:
“Oh, gee, gosh, golly”
“They must be Dems”
“Obama’s fault”
“Just joking, snowflake…geesh”
“I’m mean…come on”
“Trump doesn’t know them.”
This is the point I was going to make. Law Enforcement, fix thyself. Fix thyself first before you whine about the communities you took an oath to protect and serve.
Based on these type of actions, how can they expect communities of color to trust or even respect them?
family farmers did not get that money… at most it might have been a couple of thousands; along with numerous suicides and bankruptcies. meanwhile, the corporate farms raked in the millions.
