WSJ: Trump To Contest Tax Return Disclosure To Congress | Talking Points Memo

Personally, I’m convinced! Time to close the case!

Sorry I’ve got to run, but I’m supposed to look over this great new place I bought. Called Glengarry, Glen-something? I forget.

We are coming up to time for re-mulching, doing soil amendments and laying down the manure for next years plantings. I wonder if they have a deal or two going. Of course, having him run off to Alabama puts extra expense on shipping when bringing in choice manure.

Well, massive lying, at a minimum.

You never know with this guy. If those returns expose he’s nowhere near as wealthy as he boasts, he might be more upset at that than exposure of his Russian money laundering. Ego is a strange thing.

Well, there’s a shock.

I doubt he can keep this going until the new congress is seated in 2023, though. That’s IF they win it back from us.

Other than the optics of the documents, fat boy’s returns won’t mean a lot without knowing how the numbers in them were arrived at.

If I show a bazillion dollars in deductions, there should be documentation of how I came up with that number.

Of course, in this case there won’t be any supporting documents.

Trevor McFadden, T**** appointed judge handed this one down. They sure know how to judge shop. Went to Wheaton College in IL for undergrad. That’s a Christian Evangie school. Of course. As if my opinion of that sect couldn’t get any lower.

But don’t there have to be? My accountant said he didn’t want them, but that we’d better have them and keep them.

Their money is as green as cityfolk.

Of course he did. He’s got nothing. Courts should refuse to hear it.

According to google street view, it’s smack in the middle of nowhere. Unless you’re a tornado or a lightening bolt.

Fingers crossed?

Expect this to get to the SC where 6-3 they will rule that Trump is no longer president thus Congress can’t have his returns

They can request anyone’s returns, including the president’s, for any reason, or no reason at all.

“Shall” is a big deal in legalese.

Lol, if the SC ruled that his taxes can’t be handed over because he’s NOT the president anymore

I was sort of hopping it was hog country. In August.

Please no one fuss about masks or vaccines at this festive gathering, or hell, grouch about them having handguns, axes, or personal nerve gas dispensers.

Respect their choices, utterly.

A couple thousand ignoramouses gathered in a cow pasture, in late August, in Alabama.
I hope it rains on them and drenches that cow pasture.
I’d love to watch video of them squishing through that.

Why I wasn’t holding my breathe. I am not convinced we will ever see them.

Is this is final and ultimate route to SCOTUS? A milestone on the way?

Has the SCOTUS had a tradition of overruling the DOJ on these things?
