Now, there’s some typical MAGA lawyering. That statement is both (1) a risible lie (there are mountains of publicly available evidence of Drumpf tax wrongdoing–not counting even bigger mountains not yet released by the NY DA) and (2) absolutely irrelevant legally since the applicable law requires Treasury to release the returns to the Chairman of Ways and Means(among others) upon his/her written request; the reason for the request is simply not relevant.

Because he got a questionable 72 million dollar refund which the IRS is trying to get it back. Still not a reason to not disclose the tax returns so that WE the American Public can see the mendacity for ourselves.

Hey you just BELIEVE hard enough the universe will bend to your will. It does not matter that the US Supreme Court said that there was no reason to withhold those taxes. It does not matter that a whistleblower reported that Donny’s returns were getting special treatment like Nixon had gotten which is enough for Congress to obtain those returns. Donny just say it loud and often enough and it will all go your way . . straight to the mental health ward which is how Ronnie escaped from accountability (Iran-Contra)

I found it an odd coincidence. The town was familiar to me, small as it is. Turns out there is a monastery there that has a grotto of miniatures created by one member. I had just read about it a couple of weeks back.
But in looking around, I am wondering where he is coming into. I guess the local airport is big enough, but it still seems small for large aircraft. If that is the case, he has to travel some distance to just get there.
It looks like what he does is gather all the surrounding Trumpers in the boonies, which seems impressive to a degree, but they are still a bunch of rural folks, some there for the spectacle. Of course there are the paid attendees we are not supposed to know about as well, with the buses shipping them in from who knows where.
