Wray's Resignation Clears The Way For Trump To Corrupt The FBI

Some people, and perhaps many people, only learn things the hard way. I expect that the only thing that will convince people who believe in and voted for Trump that he is a dangerous scoundrel and a disastrous choice to lead this country is to let their fortunes and futures come crashing down as a result of his corrupt and inane policies. Whether Wray was fired or resigned is of no consequence to them.

Well, 2025 elections are less than a year away - some significant elections, such as Virginia governor. And of course, several special elections, notably house elections, all in safe R seats but they can still serve as referenda on the new administration. They’ll be in the April-June period, I think.

That would cause a lot of misery in several blue states. Vermont gets almost all of it electricity and natural gas from Quebec. And those power lines keep going straight through to Massachusetts, NH and Maine. Shutting that off would be a disaster.

I’m not wishing it on the people it would harm, but Canada has the right to defend itself from POTUS pretending he runs the world and that Canada is nothing but a wayward subsidiary of the US that needs to be brought to heel and made subservient to POTUS whims.
