Wray's Resignation Clears The Way For Trump To Corrupt The FBI

Well, AI (or at least the current iteration) is utter bullshit and only good for increasing global warming, so they were correct.

It’s GIGO in real time as the prodigious amount of hallucinated garbage is fed back into the LLM to create even more garbage.

Is there a single use case with a positive ROI? Other than buying Nvidia stock 4 years ago?

Thanks for all the cat pictures. I need them today.

As for Nancy Mace, I’m getting strong “The Fortune Cookie” vibes – with Mace as Walter Matthau.

I’m not aware that Dem Party organizations ever put together demonstrations of any kind. Other groups do that. I am aware of several local groups who are connected informally with groups regionally and/or nationally who are planning demonstrations, for instance, Indivisible and local churches/synagogues/mosques which have teamed up to oppose Christian Nationalism. Demonstrations are being planned for Jan. 6 and Jan. 20. That said, there’s much less energy for demonstrations than there was 8 years ago, in part because they don’t seem to be as effective as they once were.

And that job, as Sen. Tuberville made very clear, is to “vote for whatever Donald Trump wants.”

The guardrails are down, the safety protocols have been disabled, the guns are all loaded, Dr. Ronnie is passing out free coke to one and all, the world’s richest conspiracy freak is in charge of starving grannies, and the Director of National Intelligence nominee is a Russian asset. What could possibly go wrong?

All of this may be true, but Wray still looks like a tower of Jello.

“Life is impoverished, it loses in interest, when the highest stake in the game of living, life itself, may not be risked. It becomes as shallow and empty as, let us say, an American flirtation.”

Wray is even more of a coward than was Comey.

FWIW, I saw an article last night that stated that Wray stepping down now actually delays TCF’s ability to install Patel in the post and forces the Senate to at least go through the motions of a confirmation hearing and vote because Patel does not meet any of the legal conditions to be installed right now.

Don’t be surprised if Trump still puts Kash in as FBI Director on Day 1, in defiance of the law. He promised to be a dictator on Day 1 and petty dictators don’t let something like the law get in the way of what they want.

It’s for an obvious reason, but I didn’t read the interview.

Time magazine founder Henry Luce would probably be fine with this selection since he cast himself as a super capitalist and was a Republican.

Who owns the Time Magazine?

Marc Benioff

Marc Benioff is the chair and CEO of Salesforce and the owner of TIME.

Benioff has cast himself as a forward thinking fairly progressive person. He probably thinks it’s worth being on the good side of the dear leader.
