Although we cannot know the future, we can identity past trends that offer clues about the future. Here is a rock-solid past trend: so-called reality-based conservatives (there are no moderates in the republican conference) capitulate to their more reactionary colleagues. Will the Jordan vote be the one instance where they finally say no? Anything is possible, but this would be a serious departure from past practice.

The Millionaires, Billionaires and Gazillionaires in this Country are corrupting the SC, Congress (and want a corrupt Prez trump again), so they can bankrupt this Country and buy it up for pennies on the dollar. Gym is The Great Uniter who will sic an angry mob on you, destroying you with primary opponent after primary opponent should you thwart him.
To me, that seems to be a new thing. Chump, or his most loyal congresscritters and surrogates, get to threaten everyone else in the R party (from top to bottom) with primarying. I know that in politics there have always been threats and cutting off the money spigot…but is it new that the R voters are a mob that can be motivated in each corner of the US to throw out long-serving members? I always question my blind-spots…has it ever been thus or is this new?. Because it’s their one and only move now. Jordan or Chump or Bannon or Hannity can now just assume the mantle as needed and start commanding the crazy voting base to do their bidding? Because, primarying them is one thing; but it also comes with the threat of rando violence.
I suppose other earlier forms of threat and extortion came from power players and money men and this org or that group could make life hard on you or your family. So you had to mollify and try to play ball or avoid the ire of SOME big players or small groups. Now it is…fear every single person on the street, and fear plain crazy randos who may not be following the news very closely.
