In which case said person would be…more supportive of Harris? So that’s good from their perspective?
Or is the not-actually-minority Harris going to start putting all the crackers in camps?

Yeah, but “filed too late” is a euphemism for “if you’d won, you would never have filed it to begin with.” Just a shame they can’t say it out loud.
Yep. In fact, it’s so gerrymandered that WI scores worse than the rest of the world in Harvard’s Election Integrity Project.
" The district maps drawn by Republicans in 2011 were so unrepresentative of the majority of voters that a study last year by Harvard’s Electoral Integrity Project gave them a score of just 3, out of a possible 100 for perceived integrity—lower than any other state. (In fact, their Dec. 2016 report rated the integrity of North Carolina’s voting district boundaries as just 7 out of 100, which was then “the worst entity in the world ever analyzed by the Electoral Integrity Project.”)"
I can’t honestly say that age was a factor but I have seen many instances of strident and intolerant individuals getting worse with age. I think that your starting point determines the trajectory of how you age, some get more mellow, others become downright vicious.
Yeah. There’s something about Kamala that sets off these cretins. To tell you the truth, I hope she does have some sway with Biden and does end up as President in 4 years.
The latter, I’m sure. But it’s why he thinks the election should be invalidated.
I didn’t bother to ask him what he thought of Woodrow Wilson’s term of office after his stroke.
Of course, he couldn’t direct me to it, nor could he tell me why NONE of it was presented in any of the 59 failed court cases.
Because it’s top secret, involves hacking by China and Iran to redirect votes to Biden. While we are getting the military ready for surgical strikes in retaliation on both of them, can’t risk having it be publicly revealed that we caught them.
Look for Biden’s speech tonight to be a concession, he’s been briefed up on it and accepts that he lost in a landslide when you only count the legal votes.
Big day today. The proceedings have been understated and moving. Today is an example that the system is designed to be bigger than a single individual. It’s working today but it has taken a lot of effort to get here.
“A significant portion of the public does not believe that the November 3, 2020, presidential election was fairly conducted,” Roggensack wrote. “Once again, four justices on this court cannot be bothered with addressing what the statutes require to assure that absentee ballots are lawfully cast.”
That’s President Trump and the Wisconsin Republican majority legislature’s fault.
Five of the states where Trump contested his defeat — Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — have cast their electoral votes for Biden.
Go team!
NC has improved, mainly because the Dems had a majority on the state Supreme Court. We improved our numbers from 3 out of 13 to 5 out of 13 due to a court ordered redistricting. Unfortunately, the Dems did not get control of either state house in the 2020 election so the Repukes will undoubtedly gerrymander the districts for 2022.
Anyone else lost their patience with Patience?
Tee hee
Ben Wikler is just awesome. He’s the Stacy Abrams of the North. And that’s meant as a high compliment.
They’re elected, and those three want to be re-elected. Dancing with them what brung them.
Exactly, and so much of what various GOPers are doing right now is purely performative. It’s about signaling to the cult of white grievance that they too feel their pain, that they are with them. That’s why Trump has lost every single case except the one that allowed his people to move a little closer to watch the vote counting. The vast majority of elected GOPers have never had any intention of overturning the election, they just want to appear to be on the side of their increasingly batshit voters so they won’t lose the next election. None of this is about THIS election, it’s about the next one.
O/T: Interesting, trump finally sanctioned Turkey over their purchase of russkie missile systems

Define “significant”.
You’re right that, surprisingly, she does not.

Former president Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton among New York’s 29 electors
Chamber broke into applause when it was announced 29 electors had voted for Biden/Harris.
Hillary Clinton tweeted after that she believes the Electoral College should be abolished and president selected by popular vote.
Does everyone agree?

In my FB group where we basically point and laugh at Qcumber memes, someone posted their new “Trump’s still gonna win” scenario and it was a doozy. It states that Trump is going to declare world martial law, shutdown all the phones, computers, all electronic devices in the world and give a worldwide address in which he tells the other world leaders they are now under the control of the US government. There will be 100s of thousands of arrests worldwide of leaders of other countries in order to enforce American martial law. They really believe this shit.

I am part of a significant portion of the American population that has doubts about how the SCOTUS resolved the 2000 Florida recount and the integrity of the 2016 election.
I’m still waiting for my relief and doubt Judge Rogensack would do drip to help me get it.
