The Repubs can no longer claim to be “pro-life,” a position that was completely bogus from the ‘git go!’

More dumbsh*t grandstanding by the GOP death culters. Their uncanny ability to always do the worst thing at the worst time is like a super-power.

Missouri is doing this one better: it’s suing China. Good to know public servants have nothing else to do.

Has anybody polled the Republican-majority Wisconsin legislature for its opinion on “the constant stream of executive orders that are eroding both the economy and their liberty” emanating from El Trumpo?

Trying to give Americans health insurance = Death Panels!
Stay at home order to keep Wisconsites alive = Tyranny!

I don’t think these words mean what they think.

Must this country do every damn thing in the stupidest way possible? These governors and health administrators are trying to save lives, something the GOP used to scream was of the utmost importance. The pain we’re going to experience as a result of these assholes politicizing the lockdown will be immeasurable.

Ahem

If the WI Supreme Court had any decency, they’d accept they screwed up the decision to prevent a delay in the primary election and defer to state health officials.

They should view the Dem supported Justice’s trouncing of the incumbent as a warning sign they are on thin ice with the public.

Ya know, we’ve always known that was true, but they now have their base protesting with signs that say, “My body, my choice” and I gotta believe that even the average voter sees the disconnect. But, yeah, one of the good things that will come out of this is that they’ve given up the ghost on right to life. Whatever moral high ground they thought they had, or had with voters, is gone now.

“You can always count on Americans to do the right thing* after they have tried everything stupid.”

Or something like that. And there’s a heapin’ shitload of stupid things to try first.

The straightforward and frank way to do this used to be to take a gun or a machete or whatever and attack your neighbors and kill them, calling them “worms” or “cockroaches” and saying their killing was “self-defense.”

We’ve been drifting in this direction for a long time, but when their signs say, “Sacrifice the weak,” we’re just outside the city limits of Naziville.

Plucky, do you really think rethugs actually give a shit about life after it leaves the womb?

Agree, except the Trump base can rationalize any and all blatantly contradictory positions with mystifying (and hypocritical) logic, the “term” logic being used in its loosest form. Dems need to highlight their hypocrisy over and over and over to win over the sometimes sane swing voters.
