A white police officer in Tulsa, Oklahoma is facing backlash for incendiary comments he made during a podcast on Monday when he suggested that police officers should shoot black Americans more often.
And people wonder why there are calls for defunding and disbanding the police.
It sure looks to me like we ought to fire them all and start over everywhere with an entirely different philosophy for hiring and training.
âYates went on to argue that âif a certain groupâ commits more violent crimes, causing law enforcement officers to come into âmore contactâ with them, then the number of shootings is âgoing to be higher.ââ
A bad check is a violent crime? failing to use turn signal? selling a loose cigarette?.. etc etc etc.
Weâre firing policemen and holding them accountable for their crimes at least 24% less than we probably ought to be.
The comment was made by someone to the effect of âgood thing blacks are only looking for equality, not revengeâ.
Guess these idiot white cops are trying to provoke the latter.

Amazing how easy it is to forget that the people police come into contact with are suspects, not convicts. Perhaps he should be celebrating that POC are 24% more compliant and therefore get shot less often? Maybe the problem is White people forcing the police to shoot them more often?
Instead of being âunder fireâ and âfacing a backlash,â for his overtly racist remarks, this sorry excuse should be summarily fired and facing unemployment.

Not even close. At very least 95% of the time cops get away with manslaughter, 99âŚ9% of the time they get away with abuse that doesnât result in death. That is why they believe assulting and killing is part of their fringe benefits.
The snake argues that the mice are crooked and defiant, thus greatly increasing their chances of being eaten. âIf they were more compliant, surely we would not eat as many of them as we do.â
The problem is the term âDefund the Police.â It doesnât convey the true intent of the policy and it sets up opponents to proclaim that protestors want to do away with police forces entirely and install anarchy. I prefer Kevin Drumâs suggestion of âRebuild the Police.â
Iâm totally okay with defunding Tulsa Police Major Travis Yatesâ position. Clearly thereâs no need for that.
