A former top vaccine official, who had sued the Trump administration for allegedly demoting him as retaliation for his criticism of its COVID response, has reached a settlement with the Department of Health and Human Services.

This kind of sh*t can never happen again. Never. Ever.

When the GQP gains the executive branch again, you can be pretty much guaranteed it will.

Well let’s see can the Trumpence-demic ever happen again?

The most likely 2024 GOP nominee for president is Donald Trump followed by Florida Governor DeSantis followed by Texas Governor Abbot followed by South Dakota Governor Bikini. I think Mike Pence is also still in the mix.

So the question is not so much “can it happen again” but rather will a Republican win the presidency any time soon?

I hope the settlement comes with reinstatement with a promotion.

Here name is Kristi Noem. No need to demean her as a woman any more than if you were to refer to Abbot as Texas Governor Wheelchair.

DeSantis wants to go on BET?

I’m trying to figure out if Trump broke the flow of idiocracy from the states to the federal, or has it always been from the top down? I mean are the people say in Gohmert’s just like him, or as I keep pushing the theory that his constituents want him as far away from them in their day to day lives.
Didn’t the Tea Party start from the base and move up?

Bright’s announcement notes that he is cooperating with the Office of Special Counsel’s (OSC) ongoing investigation into his allegations that HHS officials’ response to COVID-19 was swayed by what they believed would help Trump politically rather than hard science.

That sounds like a grand old time.

I didn’t know ‘Typhoid Annie’s’ first name was Kristi.

Next thing you’ll tell me is that her middle name is ‘Firestarter’.

How about Governor Ironside?

Katz told the New York Times that Bright will receive back pay along with compensation for “emotional stress and reputational damage.” It is unclear how much exactly Bright will receive.

I’m glad the government has decided to settle Dr. Bright’s claims as he was clearly wronged by the Trump Administration, and Donald Trump personally. Trump should rightly view this settlement by the government as a slap in the face.

And the fact that the director of Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) was summarily dismissed by the previous Administration, in the midst of a pandemic, tells you a lot about why we are where we are with regards to Covid.

Trump may be gone but his evil influence lives on.

Florida had over 28,000 new cases today. DeSantis must be trying to beat Trump’s COVID numbers for the whole country just in Florida. That’ll impress everyone.

Maybe the general idea originated organically, but the record indicates it transitioned quickly to pure Astroturf™.
