As Texas endures one of the worst disasters in its modern history, pictures circulating online appear to show the state’s junior senator taking a trip to a sunnier locale.
Twitter sleuths and political operatives began flagging the photos Wednesday night showing Cruz at the airport and on a plane headed to Cancún.
Surely he’s on a mission of mercy to Mexico.
I fully expect him to preach his Free Market Gospel in Cancún, seeing as how it has worked so well for Texas.
