Some of us are old enough to remember when the NRA would be horrified by something like this … and the first reflexive response would be the reiterating of various safety advisories & encourage the safe & secure locked storage of firearms & the storage of ammunition separate from the firearms.
Instead, now we have an NRA that instantly launches sick preemptive 2nd Amendment support statements & attacks on any form of intelligent firearm care & management.

I read a WaPo article where they quote a DeSantis appointed board member complaining about how they weren’t informed of these changes until late Friday night, in March. Well duh! When you take over you should have your lawyers hired, and ready to read all paperwork. Have fun imposing your conservative religious views on the garbage collection, and sewer system.

great news about both Fetterman’s planned return and that the Texas Tribune is hanging on for now.
I hope Fetterman continues to have a solid support system because I imagine being in Congress has to be a pretty depressing job at times like this. But glad that he’s feeling well enough to jump back in because we need him!
