No. I will agree that lots of the FBI is wingnut. Has been since J. Edgar wore frilly pink panties under his pinstripe suit.
But Department of Labor? Interior? State? (well, with staff leaving over Israel, it’s probably getting more wingnut…)
Sure, some of the bureaucracy is right wing. It would have to be, as staff is carried over from one administration to the next for decades. But all? Don’t be simpleminded! You can and should deal with the complexity that makes up the real world (and government.)

Sure, I was addressing the prosecution of employers. I have a feeling there won’t be the kind of mass roundups that will harm major business sectors like meat packers and Big Ag. Even Trump must know that would lead to empty shelves at the supermarkets and much higher prices for the food that does get there.
I think what we’re going to see is just a series of performance raids on Dem-owned small businesses, with a few migrants loaded onto planes for the media cameras. Trump can’t afford to crash the economy with deportations on the scale he talked about to get elected.

And when 3/4 of their employees are arrested and deported, they can put on their shocked face and insist they didn’t know. What they do know is that they can fill the ranks with more people from the endless supply of undocumented immigrants from the same employment agencies.

Like others here and elsewhere have said, I can’t get past how they’ll identify the votes (=ballots) to throw out. I understand they have or can identify the voters in question, but short of interrogating each one under oath for their vote—and each one remembering and answering truthfully (with no way to confirm or deny)—I don’t see any method to do it.
The only other possibility I can imagine is simply to throw out the number of votes based on the voters’ party registration, with the implicit assumptions that all 60K voted a straight party ticket with zero crossovers and that they’re registered in the party of their identity.
I mention the latter because of my personal experience in OK where, IIRC, Dems are barely outregistered by Republican’ts, but easily outvoted by them, especially in SE OK (“Little Dixie”), where being a Democrat goes back to opposing the Party of Lincoln! (I think there’s a similar dynamic in the FL panhandle.)

I would advise every Democratic Senator to refuse to vote for Heggie unless they get to see the unredacted FBI report. Can Dems just refuse to vote, and deprive the Senate of a quorum or something?
Also, Democrats need to be on all the talking head shows, podcasts, interviews (local and otherwise) etc insisting that the FBI report must be released. That a candidate who will be responsible for the safety and security of the United States and the lives of our military can’t be slipped in under the radar. If there’s any information about Hegseth’s credentials, it must be made public.

Who do you think the billionaires in trump’s cabinet will decide to punish? Their fellow corporate bigwigs and those who supply them with cheap labor, or foreign brown people?

Then they’ll say the problem is solved, and the companies who hire undocumented people will just continue on with business as usual.

For 30 years the evangelical church has been stuffing government with their people. Particularly the IRS, whch somehow will not even investigate the openly politicking churches of America.
Most powerful among those church groups, with the most Representatives in Congress, is, in point of actual fact, a church group founded by the leaders of the last Civil War.
The churches that told the youth of the Southern US states that God wanted them to kill their fellow Americans are the most powerful political group in the country.

The media is owned or controlled by the Right. It’s why you’ll notice that even when a Dem does get on TV, the color palette is tuned to make them seem sickly.
People who own media companies can buy a boat with their Trumnp tax breaks. Self interest wins the day, and the white upper class has been weaponized.
I expect them to heavily arm the disaffected and rewrite the foundational documents, just like they did in the Reformation.

Yes, I believe the deep state is Republican. I believe in my 25 years here every Republican President has minted new department after new department and stuffed them with their people. ICE? Homeland Secutrity?
You’re living in a dream world. What’s worse, you don’t see that that depth of effect is what it takes to put a serial liar, multiple bankrupt, and sexual abuser into the office of President after he has committed an insurrection on TV.
