What To Make Of The Supreme Court Taking Trump’s Immunity Case?

SCOTUS will wade deep into the weeds on what constitutes a Presidential function or action. I definitely look for them to issue a ruling that hands Trump some sort of limited immunity, specific to crimes he’s been indicted for. It’ll be so convoluted SCOTUS will make sure it’s a one time only “Get Out of Jail” free card for Trump, worded such that future Presidents aren’t immune for the same or similar crimes and conduct they carve out for Trump.

And when they do that Joe should retaliate by removing the barriers around the court that corrupted Roberts ordered. And Joe should also removed the snipers Roberts hired.

The Sleazy Six should get a message from Joe that actions have consequences.

Oh and Garland should arrest Ginni Thomas and charge her with sedition to reenforce that message.

It’s almost beyond belief that a pitiful little chihuahua like Paxton believes he should be a US Senator. I guess Texas has not sunk low enough with Cornyn and Cruz, and Pax wants to take it down a level or two. He must believe that one more felonious Jesus freak in the Senate is just what the country needs.

my question is; if TRUMPF is subject to the laws of the land and is granted immunity for his crimes…are the rest of us entitled to the same immunity… he is just another ‘elected’ politician…so will the immunity apply to all people who are elcted to any office…even the person who steals beer for tne 7-11

Cold comfort. Either way, the future of our democracy and probably democracy elsewhere in the world will depend on the outcome of November’s election. At best, we will face decades of the courts’ thwarting the popular will and imposing specific religious perspectives on everyone.

if one citizen is granted immunity for their crimes, let the above citizens be exposed to the same dangers we all are.

I think their main problem is women exerting any bodily autonomy. Their religion dictates that all women belong to men (father, husband, brother) and all men must be under the thumb of the church. Thus any ability to control one’s fertility or act independently runs afoul of the way things should be.

More like the day Democratic leadership accepted this vs impeachment like Mueller suggested.

Because until “Court reform” leaves the mouth of Biden, it’s the same thing.
