Because he could do that without fucking with his days off.
If he had to show up at the Capitol even once a day to maintain his hold, it would’ve been over in a couple weeks, max.

Well, that would be useful, but you immediately have a problem. I don’t think many of the followers have ever really noticed that Jesus doesn’t show up, so they’re burdened with the same bad assumption we make. If you ask the people who have noticed and seem to be leaders they’re not going to tell you they’re not following Jesus.
It’s like asking someone if they’re heretics, most people don’t know, and the ones who do won’t tell you they are.
I just want to say “He’s a lumberjack” so badly.
I don’t believe Trump is speaking a coherent language here so maybe he is correct.
Nope. The total size would be almost 600, but you only need to add 139 seats:
Ah well, I knew something like 600 was needed. Thanks.
If he were sentenced to jail time, it would probable only be house arrest – how else could they accommodate the Secret Service protection he is entitled to?
Have we’ve given Alcatraz a look? I know it’s run by the NPS now, but they could sign it over for a decade or two. It would be an interesting setting to confine a Republican ex-POTUS on an island in San Francisco Bay.
"I wish I could tell you that there is some secret thing that he really believes in, but he doesn’t.”
Thanks for sharing that info on McConnell. I think the sentence above describes the modern Republican Party. And here we all thought it was conservative. It’s nothing.
Like Trump. h/t: E Jean Carroll
but telling them not to be afraid or not to be scared
Never said anything of the sort. They are not afraid or scared. They are eternal pessimists who never have anything positive to say to anyone about anything happening in this country. As I’ve posted before, they WANT the apocalypse to happen so they can berate anyone who didn’t buy into their “truth”. And to laugh in everyone’s face and say they were right and everyone who didn’t listen to them was wrong. We don’t need that negativity here.
Thanks. So he’s apparently all in on DT’s border security cosplay.
Texas Guard maybe? BP union boss?
If I recall correctly, the Border Patrol union backed the bill and complained that the House didn’t follow through.
This story does not put enough blame on Florida’s “surgeon general.” In addition to the measles outbreak, there’s a meningitis outbreak as well.
Florida health officials are warning parents to monitor their children as outbreaks of measles and meningitis spread through schools. An 11-year-old boy has died of meningitis in the state.
The portion of that article that I think says it all:
Plus the fact his daughters won’t have anything to do with him says a lot, too.
there’s a meningitis outbreak as well.
Viral meningitis can be a complication of measles.
https://www.cdc.gov/meningitis/viral.html
Other viruses that can cause meningitis are
- Mumps virus
- Herpesviruses, including Epstein-Barr virus, herpes simplex viruses, and varicella-zoster virus (which causes chickenpox and shingles)
- Measles virus
- Influenza virus
- Arboviruses, such as West Nile virus
- Lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus
Yes, as always, keep a grain of salt handy.
And I am not suggesting that they are concerned about their perceived legitimacy out of a sense of integrity; rather, their concern is out of self-interest.
Maggie Haberman: Byeden appears at remote location, brave trump stares down would-be illegals right across the fenceline with guv Hotwheels in tow
Some news:
Manuel Rocha was arrested for allegedly engaging in ‘clandestine activity’ on the communist country’s behalf since at least 1981
Both of my children were required to get meningitis vaccinations prior to going to college. The CDC now recommends the initial dose at 11 and a booster at 16.
Another trump loving traitor, seems to be a lot of those.
