Several outlets that reported last week that the FBI had warned Rudy Giuliani that he was a target of Russia’s disinformation campaign against President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden have walked back their reports.
Did he need to be warned? They knew what they were doing and who they were doing it with.
Not to mention, how often do criminals get warned that they’re they’re being investigated for their criminal conduct…?

Seriously now… a decent journalist would try to get accurate information and when it goes wrong they correct the story.\ and announce the correction. That’s not to say OAN is off the hook however.

Journalism outlets are always in a break-neck race to publish first. They should know that after four years of being on the receiving end of those howls about “fake news” -anything that substantiates that claim works against their mission in the long term. Might I suggest that instead of “first with news” the new mantra should be “news that’s verified?”
He knew exactly what he was doing, and who was helping him. This will all come out in his trial(s).
