Doesn’t matter. We are now at the point at which all data is consumed either by the Trump Cult or the voters we wish to turn out to defeat Trump.
CULT: If Trump cancels, the Cult will excuse him, and if he participates and he crashes and burns (nearly a 100% certainty) they will excuse his performance.
NON-CULT: If Trump cancels, these voter will disapprove and if he participates and he crashes and burns, they will accurately assess his incompetence and unfitness for Office.

The interview is entertaining the way pro-wrestling is. The interviewer pretends that she’s grateful for having the spokesman on, the spokesman pretends not to acknowledge the distinction between taxes and federal taxes, the interviewer pretends not to want to slug the spokesman, the spokesman pretends not to enjoy frustrating the interviewer, the interviewer says stop it, the spokesman doesn’t stop it. It’s like brother and sister arguing in the back seat of the car, trying not to let the dispute get to the point that Mom or Dad has to pull the car over.

Officer, I’ve produced my driver’s license tens of millions of times over the years. Nobody is more concerned about producing their driver’s license, and really, it’s a beautiful driver’s license one of the best. But as you know, officer, my license is under audit and Hunter Biden’s license, well just scandalous that driver’s license. Thank you for your service, officer. Here, have a hat.

Is there actually evidence that he doesn’t take the salary. It recalls to mind how he had that rally to raise money for vets, bragged about it but didn’t actually give any money until reporters called him on it. Is he taking it and donating to horrible charities all while deducting it as a donation? Whatever path is the most scurrilous, I suppose we can assume Trump has taken it.

His “supporters” are NOT “Bamboozled” by him. They understand perfectly well who and what he is.
They support him because they WANT to be JUST LIKE HIM. He is the stupid person’s idea of what a smart person looks like. He is the failure of a person’s idea of what a successful person acts like.
They fervently wish they too could;
- Cheat on their taxes.
- Steal from everyone RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM.
- Rip-off everyone they do business with by refusing to pay them, and then sue them into receivership if they dare to oppose it.
- Have a cadre of mob-lawyers at their beck and call to protect them from all consequences.
- Be able to fuck porn-stars and cheat on their wives/girlfriends and GET AWAY WITH IT.
- Be able to sexually harass and assault whomever they wish and GET AWAY WITH IT.
- Be driven around in limousines, and fly in private jets, and spend money without consequence.
- Get paid enormous sums of money for doing basically NOTHING on a TV show for years.
- Be “Famous” for being “Famous”.
And be admired by the other losers down at the bar for being an Alpha-Asshole JUST LIKE THEIR HERO TRUMP.
Yes. It really is that simple.
