I know he sees this as free advertising that the media gobbles up, like 2016 (and up to today). But how does he see this as positive at this point? Rome burns, Nero fiddles. Thatā€™s what the majority are seeing, I would imagine.

(Besides after every one of these shitmesses, Iā€™m left with a sense of doom that carries me well into the night).

Somebody put this slime bag out of his misery or heā€™s going to make us all more nuts. It was horrible enough hearing from him through tweets in the ā€œNOrMaLā€ times. We just donā€™t need this.

They watch, so we donā€™t have to.

Questions: how many nets will actually broadcast this? When will most of them cut away for repeats of Wheel of Fortune, lest they lose their viewership? How many nets will simply refuse to spend one minute of their airtime on this?

Iā€™m only here for the comments.

Media. You need a 12 step program. Stop covering these in real time.

Not only does he need to do it for his own psyche; and not only does he see it as his best bet; itā€™s also the only thing he knows to do in the circumstances.

Ask not what the comments can do for you ā€¦

I canā€™t even do the comments any more because itā€™s all about the crazy inept criminal in chief saying one outrageous thing after another. Iā€™ve overloaded.

We all need a mental health vacation from this fool.

Iā€™m watching the ā€˜Summer Houseā€™ marathon on Bravo TV - Andy Cohen is recovering from his CV infection at home, so itā€™s the least I can do.

Even though itā€™s more than the Pres is doing for him.

I donā€™t have TV, so I canā€™t check, but by all reports theyā€™re more and more regarding this as pointless. If anyone at them makes news you can easily do an item on it, but as a day to day exercise itā€™s the worst thing, from the media perspective: itā€™s boring. Trumpā€™s pathological self-puffery is too much of a good thing at this point. Penceā€™s misty-eyed adulation is getting really old too. Trump doesnā€™t grasp that the same bullshit day after day grows stale; he doesnā€™t understand how his talking is bullshit or how it might bore people. He doesnā€™t understand how stupid he looks standing there pretending to listen. He doesnā€™t understand, well, anything.

I canā€™t watch them. Iā€™ll just wait for the fact checking later. I understand that CNN and MSNBC are going to bag them from here on out. My local stations have been cutting them off for the 6 oā€™clock news all along, thankfully.

And, yet, the base stays with him.

I remember during the waves of tariffs being applied, soybean farmers who were having their livelihoods destroyed said if he knew, he would do something about it. Itā€™s a cult, what can I tell you? Itā€™s not rational and never was.

Have you ever considered that the ā€œbaseā€ is made up of equally crazy people?

You donā€™t have to be crazy to behave irrationally, though.

I think itā€™s free-base.
Thatā€™s the only thing I can think of that would keep them on task with the Orange Lipidomaā€¦

I know what you mean. How often have I thought it would be nice to just ignore him and let him rant and rave. Unfortunately, due to his position, his rantings can have serious consequences. That I canā€™t ignore and need to keep up of with his shenanigans so I donā€™t become blindsided. I cannot stand to watch him or listen to his voice so just read the comments to get the gist of what he is saying and doing.
