Whatever it is, I’m for it.

“Our kids today probably don’t really realize just how important they are in shutting this thing down,” Justice told NPR after making the announcement during a briefing earlier this week. “I’m trying to come up with a way that’s truly going to motivate them — and us — to get over the hump.”

I especially liked the next line:

During the Post interview, the governor said he would tell critics to “kiss my butt,”

I wonder if he expects blow back from the Q wing.

Great idea !! I like a man with a plan that makes sense.

I’m not actually mad at this handout. Especially as it also reinforces investment and savings thoughts.

Who would have put WV at the forefront of a solid, liberal policy?

Somebody tell Manchin that West Virginians are getting government subsidies so that he can voice his objections and show how good a leader he is for his state.

Maybe he’ll argue that they need to be employed to be eligible.

WHY is he the voice of sanity in the GOP?

Fluoride, which they were once adamantly against.

See, it’s working.

He wants to create “I was sane” narrative for the post GQP era.

I’m not a fan of republican policy but I’m old enough to remember when they weren’t all insane.

I am now sure about that…

  1. West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice wants to get rid of personal income tax in the state and offset it by increasing sales tax by 2% and a luxury tax on items over $5,000 The proposal would reduce the income tax by 60% for the first year and repeal it completely in three years

Too good to be true???
Pro-Trump attorney Lin Wood was caught on camera this week threatening South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Drew McKissick to “get out of the race.”

Wood appears to threaten McKissick with a rumor about Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

“I know about you and Lindsey,” Wood says. “You need to get out of the race now. Nothing can stop what’s going to come.”

Which parts? The free trans-Atlantic cruise, the healthy outdoor and exercise time, the free housing?

Thank you, Roberts, for assuring us that racism is a relic of the past in America.

Did Joe Manchin agree to this?

Wasn’t Justice a Dem before he became a Republican? Maybe there’s still a sliver of Dem still there?

My other thought on young people and not getting vaccinated is that I’m in the tail end of the Boomer generation. A generation that wears it’s circular small pox scar on their arms. Which makes me wonder what is the average age of an antivaxxer? As a really young child I can remember the Viet Nam coverage on the evening news, and report on people in iron lungs. Both which had a big impact on me. I’ve also found my childhood record of my vaccinations, and besides the scar from the small pox vaccination I can also remember getting a polio booster that was oral. It looked yummy, but tasted
