I, for one, hate when bald guys try and cover it up with plugs or a hairpiece.
Everyone can tell. And It makes you a liar.
And Picard is the better Captain.
As such, I’m for Welch… “Make it so”
Welch is 74 years old. Hard pass.
Welch will win.
Vermonters always vote for the sitting rep to become senator. I lived there for 30 years.
Umm. Vermonters live longer healthier lives than Texans.
So the median age in Vermont is 43 years old third highest after Maine and New Hampshire. Their 60 year olds out number twenty year olds. Of course age isn’t a gauge by which to judge anyone in terms of skill, ideas and the like but from experience I know that I’m not as on top of things as I used to be.
“74 years old” is your reason to “Blackball” him?
Just - veto him / exclude him - from consideration because of his age ?
Sure it might be great if the candidate was 25 years younger … but there are no age limits - just a popular vote as to who the majority feels is best equipped to serve the state and the nation.
Jinnj, are you the same now as you were at, let’s say 30? Would I be guessing wrong by suggesting, probably not? As I mentioned in my comment, Vermont is a relatively old, chronologically speaking, eventually new talent has to be brought into the fold.
He only needs one term while VT picks a younger At-Large Rep…
We are where we are at the moment
Ummm, nobody should be getting elected to a first term in the Senate at age 74.
The fact that Joe Biden is 78 years old in his first term as President is still problematic.
Well then move to Vermont and vote.
Yes, and they are not setting Harris up for success. Underutilized IMO
Controversial Take of the Day: Dianne Feinstein is too damn old to hold that seat.
And I’ll thank you for never, ever again opining on anything related to Texas, yes?
“Did I strike a nerve?”
Val Demmings
Everyone agrees on that…
No one here will argue that.
The only thing controversial is pushing her out early. (Which should have happened after hugging Lindsey)
OK, OK guys do we want a pipeline of Mathew Cawthorns, Lauren Boberts, because we don’t get an AOC that often.
No, you’re just wrong and on the internet.
Yes, next question?
True enough, but this does highlight a big problem in the party.
Our Leadership and members are OLD.
Leadership has been awful in getting youth into the leadership and showing a clear passing of the torch to the next Generation.
Baby boomers need to step away from leadership. Not politics, but leadership.
