WATCH: Trump Pays Respects To Ginsburg Amid Chants Of ‘Vote Him Out’ | Talking Points Memo

Pretty sure you’ve nailed it, matt. He got that really stupid “How did I get here?” look in his eyes just before he started rocking and fidgeting, and as soon as the nature of the chanting became clear to him he turned and walked away.

Turned and ran as usual. I’d love to hear what he said when he got under cover, though.

“Can’t we get one of those big whirly things to come shoot those bullet things at those violent rioters?”

I just wish we could get an incident that’s really biting, like someone yelling into a megaphone at him that “Donald Trump is still a scared and fumbling little boy still trying to impress a father who never loved him!!!” and other such things that would noodle around in his head for days or weeks and drive him crazy, especially when it keeps popping up in headlines for a few days.

He’s been waiting like a vulture for Ginsberg to die. The showing up was a victory lap.
I wonder how he is posing the question to his nominee of how she will vote if the election ends up at the SC.

In Trumps desiccated brain he’s thinking. “They like me, they really do!”

So despicable to show up at such a place. Just so low class, tho true that it’s a display of dominance. And then will come the lies: “I don’t know, but I heard that everybody was cheering, but it’s hard to say, you know the people love me, and I didn’t know her but I heard several people talking about how much she admired me.”

"…I didn’t know her but I heard several people talking about how much she admired me.”

That’s just too outlandish, even for trump.

Good crowd. Very different than Trump’s rallies.

All Shithead and his plastic play pal hears are cheers and chants of “Four more years!”

The delusion runs deep.

Notice that he sways as he stands when he doesn’t have a podium to lean on. That is one sick fuck.

Have in-laws in DC area and been there many times. IMO the MD drivers are the worst I have ever encountered

Honestly I don’t think he has much of an understanding that normal people are capable to varying extents of judging others’ sincerity. That’s why this stuff is so crudely performative with him. It doesn’t occur to him that if he accused the family of conspiring with Adam Schiff to lie about her dying wish that it’s pointless to then show up at this vigil two days later and stand there for a couple of minutes looking stupid. No, the way to move that dial would be to go back to early childhood and live his life over again as an entirely different person.

Silicone doesn’t burn—but it does melt, a la the Wicked Witch of the West.

You’ve obviously never driven in Boston.

Yup. Steer wide of minivans and MD plates (and MD plates on minivans doubly so).

Haha I like Boston as a town a great deal but the regular dopes there are even more obnoxious than they are in Philly and that’s an accomplishment.

I love Boston—Philly, too—but both have the rudest and worst drivers on the planet.

Once on a bumper-to-bumper morning with everyone going maybe 40 on the Baltimore-DC Parkway I saw a guy driving with a newspaper spread out on his steering wheel.
