This afternoon, NIH Director Francis Collins was asked by NPR’s Mary Louise Kelly if he was pressured to rein in or sack Fauci, he said no.

OT: The company I work for voluntarily shut down for two weeks. They will reopen Monday with fewer people. The economic conditions made it necessary. I can’t help but think how much better off we would be if we had competent leadership.

The U.S. has 699,044 confirmed cases and 36,849 deaths from COVID-19 and with 2,763 deaths yesterday, makes it now the leading cause of death per day.
For perspective, 36,849 deaths in 86 days is more than 36,516 U.S. combat deaths during the 3 years, 1 month and 2 days of the Korean War.

and both of those numbers are serious under counts. Lots more undetected cases and unaccounted for deaths. Even with those numbers, we’re dealing with a 5% mortality rate.
Yeah, that’s yesterday’s emetic. Looking forward to fresh nausea today.

One can only hope that someone in the WH Press will ask about a national strategy for targeted testing, tracing, tracking and long term social distancing before we reopen America!
Although US has the highest total Covid-19 test worldwide (approx 3.4M), US has tested very low (0.30% per 1M population) compared to other countries!
So what happened to the promise of the Covidiot-Trump about those Covid tests and drive through/retail test at Walmart, Target, etc?
