The voting machine company Dominion sued pro-Trump lawyer Sidney Powell for defamation Friday over Powell’s smear campaign against Dominion, in which she spent weeks accusing the company of being at the center of a voter fraud scheme to steal Donald Trump’s second term.
Only $1.3 billion? Chump change…
If Dominion wins a judgement against Trump for everything he’s worth, they’ll end up owing Deutsche Bank $340 million.

Dominion sent Fox a cease-and-desist and demanded they retract their statements. Fox did so. Can Dominion still successfully sue them at this point?

A few weeks ago when Dominion was merely threatening to sue unless she retracted, all the pretend legal experts on rw twitter were like “Oh man! This is sweet! Dominion’s so stupid they don’t know their whole scam will be revealed in discovery!”
Yes, it will be sweet. But not for the reasons they think. I don’t know if it’s legally tenable to shield yourself from a defamation suit by claiming acute mental illness, but that looks like the only thing standing between her and Dominion taking her and her whole outfit to the cleaners.
You know it’s been a decidedly suboptimal four years when the cavalry is Big Business.
