Did you see Ronna Corona is trying to cut the QAnon out of the Republican party? Good luck with that. Ronna should ask Trump to say QAnon is bogus and out to lunch. Have the seditionist for once, do something useful. Might denounce the militias and white supremacist groups at the same time. A real president would or should have done that by now.

While I agree the censure doesn’t do much, there are a couple of things that make it a bigger deal:

They took away her committee assignment as well, so she now sits on no committees. All she can do is show up and vote when the entire State Senate does. She was griping about that because “now her constituents have no representation.” Ooooookay.
This is the first censure in 35 years, so she’ll get her name in history books for being disgusting enough to break that streak.

ETA: Oh, I should mention:

Less than half the Republicans voted to support her. If she can’t get half of Virginia Republicans to support her, she must be really disgusting.

Don’t forget Virginia’s proximity to DC and how many Virginians work(ed) for the federal government. They also sent their National Guard to DC during the insurrection.

I have a feeling the GOP treason hasn’t played well in the state.
