Virginia state Sen. Amanda Chase (R) was censured by the state senate on Wednesday following incendiary actions that included praising the mob in the deadly insurrection of the Capitol earlier this month that left five dead as “patriots.”
Cave fish who’ve gone eyeless from generations of life in the dark still point and laugh when they hear about this one. “Nuance, girlfriend! Use it or lose it!” they say. They point in various directions but still they have a point.
“Although Chase spoke to a crowd of Trump supporters in D.C. hours before the insurrection at the Capitol, she left before the pro-Trump mob breached the Capitol.”
Days after the Capitol riots, FBI Assistant Director Steven D’Antuono told reporters on a call that there was “no indication” that antifa was responsible for the insurrection that Trump incited.
That’s because, as a structured organization, Antifa is about as real as the tooth fairy. IOW, it does not exist!
This is amazing. Twitter just locked my main account for “inciting violence” by responding to Schumer’s move to override GOP filibuster of Biden’s nominee when I said Democrats need to be lightning fast to “head off” the GOP.
Amanda Chase deserves humiliation. Any “lawmaker” who praises the actions of a treasonous mob whose actions resulted in the death of five people, including a Capitol Police officer deserves not only censure, but expulsion from the State Senate and possible prosecution.
I think this one and most of them navigate life’s complexities by simply taking the most extreme positions they’re aware of to take. She says they censured her as a “politically driven attack” because she’s just too awesome. You don’t need to be especially dumb or clinically mentally ill. Just lazy, mostly, and generally awful.
