“Until this moment, GOP, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness. Let us not assassinate this lad further … You have done enough. Have you no sense of decency?”

Come on. Of course not.

Remember the swift boat treatment that Kerry got? I wouldn’t put anything past these corrupt crooks, but they have totally lost their mojo. I doubt they could pull off another one. Still, it was amazing that they were able to take the purple heart and turn it into a political mockery.

They are in a self-destruct mode. They are trying to shame people they watched on TV and in the movies…people who are not Mayflower W.A.S.P. folks but are from other parts of the world.

Like Trump’s current spouse.

They now have nothing but legal gymnastics, bombastic talk and, of course, lying.

The Republicans did not have it then – and they do not have it now.

Or at any time in between.

Or in the foreseeable future.

Which I find interesting (read funny), because it was John Yoo who went after Vindman on Ingraham’s show last night. Are we not going to ask Laura “So is John, Yoo’s real first name? Isn’t his family from North Korea? Would he have dual loyalty to the Kim’s”

Child TV stars, huh… So, Crisis Actors!

Nobody heard of these twins before, suddenly they appear with crucial information about the President…

And I don’t know a soul who’s not been battered
I don’t have a friend who feels at ease
I don’t know a dream that’s not been shattered
or driven to its knees
But it’s all right, it’s all right
We’ve lived so well so long
Still, when I think of the road
we’re traveling on
I wonder what went wrong
I can’t help it, I wonder what went wrong

This is the song used in the opening of Ken Burns film about the Statue of Liberty.

You really do like to work both sides of the aisle.

Well, we all know courtesy of Stephen Miller that the Statue of Liberty doesn’t mean what we think it means.

Joseph Welch would get beaten with a tire iron and left for dead were he around today.

Their side pays better…

And $5 and a set of Morals will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Well that tears it. Ken Burns, chronicler of the Civil War and Vietnam, American Storyteller Extraordinaire, the crown jewel of PBS, Ken Burns I say, well, that dog don’t hunt, no sir.

I hear Ken Burns is a Socialist.

Only for white Europeans, if I recall…

I just finished the Country music series. It’s fine but could have had a few issues filled in the last episode namely more about Glen Campbell and the Dixie chicks imbroglio but overall from Hank to Cash and the impact of 80’s and 90’s broadcast deregulation which split Modern country from the Americana format.

And Yoo evidently cannot see the irony.

Remember George McGovern? He flew 35 missions over enemy territory.
Swift boaters got some jerk who was a crewman to say that McGovern was a coward because he had to make a wheels up landing to save the plane and crew.
F**k me.
