Happy Veterans Day! Many of you are out of office right now, but politics never sleep. We’re still waiting for election results in key races from Arizona and Nevada, and lawsuits by and against Trump are still making their way through the legal system.
I went to sleep on Tuesday night expecting the worst. Depression was creeping into my relatively good lots-of-fall-biking soul. I thought my mood would only get worse. Then I awoke on Weds. to good and decent news: Plenty of good and decent people were winning and some of the worst of the election denying thuggery were going down. And it was looking like, now confirmed, that our two possibly endangered blue Congresscritters and our even more likely endangered Blue Senator would be re-elected here in NH. Now I feel good, not great, but good. If the Dems can hold the Senate and especially if the filthy sexist ignoranti Walker goes down, I promise I will smile again
PS: Mts. Washington, Adams, and Madison, 1st, 2nd, and 5th highest mountains in the Northeast, are hovering in the haze. A flock of 20 or more turkeys just wandered by. Life could be good!
I made a comment a couple of weeks ago predicting that the Dems would retain both the Senate and the House. I then kept a low profile after reading all of the articles about the coming ‘Red Wave’ :). However, now, there is at least the ghost of a chance that my prediction might come true! Really amazing…
Josh posted my email predicting women would show up and do it.
They did with a boost from Gen Z.
Take that media pundits. Ladies so used to and tired of being dismissed.
Waiting for the analysts posting how “shocked” they are when women show up to vote for reproductive freedom. Remembering the day after KS vote.
Nobody knew that multibillion dollar hostile political takeovers would be so complicated. Who could have predicted that selling individual memberships to scammers and rubes for $8 a month would have a lower total return than selling millions in annual advertising to a single trusted client?!?
