Until Trump himself contracts a SEVERE case of COVID-19, none of this will change.
Even then, he will blame it on an “attempted assassination of Trump by Obama” and all his Marching Morons will believe him 100%.
They have FAITH in him, and FAITH not only requires no proof, it REJECTS the very CONCEPT of PROOF as an apostasy. To demand PROOF means you are not “One of the Tribe” and you are summarily dismissed as “a non-believer” and ignored.
If Trump were to somehow die from COVID-19 (he won’t, only the Good Die Young) he would then be held up as a Martyr by the Marching Morons (many of these same people actually WORSHIP at the feet of Elvis for example.)
The Oligarchs who call the shots in the Trump Campaign are the ones pushing the “Death Cult” of OPEN UP NOW purely from a profit motive. They are beginning (ever so slightly) to feel pain in their portfolios, so, it’s time to whip up the crazies in the Death Cult to “Die for America”.

I think that President Skanky Turdface should order the White House employees not to wear masks. It also appears that government employees are being forced to take daily blood tests and (rectal?) temperature probing. This is scaring ordinary Americans and giving aid and abetting the COVID-19 virus and its allies.

Trump’s astonishingly broad appeal is based in part on his promise of bread and circus.
With the economy in the tank, broken supply chains and a shrinking global resource base, we can expect less bread, or at least more expensive bread and other food items in the years ahead.
As far as Trump’s ability to keep his racist, ignorant base entertained, it’s hard to tell. I only felt the Trump spell once in 2016 as he was talking about saving the environment and protecting our water supplies, i.e. topics close to my heart, But soon I came to and realized it was all hot air. Perhaps Obamagate will play, perhaps the notion of Joe Biden grabbing pussy will play, perhaps the sneaky Chinese stealing intellectual property like our vaccine will play, but it all sounds pretty tiresome and puerile. Space is one area that fires the public imagination, but he doesn’t seem that interested in space himself. Maybe a Space Weather Channel that keeps everything below the Van Allen Belt?
