Apparently, the problem with Ukraine’s corruption is it was strictly amateur time. Here’s how the professionals do it. Stand back and marvel as the Swamp King exponentially multiplies the cesspool of corruption in DC.

Nice going Donald. There was nothing illegal about the Biden thing in the first place, but good luck reviving that bit of malarkey now.

Authoritarian rulers are almost all nepotistic. They engage in crony capitalism and corruption to favor relatives.

Hunter Biden had the good sense to resign his board position. Let’s see what Robert Trump does. Sell his shares at inflated prices, only to have Donald cancel the contract soon after, I’m guessing.

This is Hunter Biden’s fault!

The contract, first reported by the Washington Post on Saturday, was awarded to a digital security company named CertiPath in June to upgrade the U.S. Marshals Service’s security systems for courtrooms, judge’s chambers, and other “physical access control systems.”

If I’m a federal judge, I’m definitely not comfortable with a Trump involved anywhere in my security process.

This is not news. This is routine in the Banana Republic into which the Republicans have already transformed the USA.

I’m sorry, but I can’t peso much as even a penny to your cause.

I thought his brother was dead.

But still, that’s astoundingly corrupt. I bet Cheney is awfully miffed that he had to sell his shares in the asbestos company and his other arms manufacturing interests.

Ben, Benny, take a breath, this is the small stuff. Let’s keep our eyes on the prize, our democracy. But this will be duly noted into the book of charges that is being written for Trump.

Not necessarily. He’s one of a team of investors that have a partial share of the company, it’s not like he directly owns it or anything. And no evidence that Trump himself is even aware of it, let alone any improper actions.

Looking at the company’s website, they’ve got a current GSA contract that’s been in place since 2014, so it’s not like they’re new on the government scene.

If something comes out, I’ll be interested, but right now this kinda looks like a nothingberder, only rises to slightly newsworthy because of the comparisons with Hunter.

This smells a bit. Not as much as the Pentagon awarding its cloud contract to Microsoft over Amazon though.

This my read of the story as well.
