Abbott is making the biggest mess imaginable. He’s the one responsible and it would be reprehensible to shift the whole conversation over to Biden. And that’s what would happen if Biden got pugnacious here. Let Abbott continue to shoot off parts of himself and then cut his own throat - he’s clearly this stupid.

What a choice? Would I rather starve or freeze to death? Once thought of living in Texas but thankfully that thought passed quickly. It is a beautiful and varied land. It’s too bad about some of the people living there. Of course, I will admit that Alabama is not much better people wise. And think, there are people like this ALL OVER the world.

Articles of Confederation is how the GOP acts: States are sovereign and can enter into treaties with other nations.
This is a linguistic slight of hand by Gov. Abbott to get around the legal definition of a treaty and the requirement by the U. S. Constitution to have any such agreement between a United States city and a Mexican city not being ratified by the U.S. Senate.

Lots of voters in Texas are dumb but more aren’t dumb so much as they are religious. If y’all haven’t figured this out by now - the hold the GOP has on its voter base is religion. It’s all about the End Times and evangelical religion.
